For me, driving lessons are about more than just passing your test. They are about confidence, safety and getting on the road feeling good.
With over 10 years of experience as a taxi bus driver, I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, including people with disabilities. That taught me how important patience, calm and personal guidance are when you are learning to drive.
At Rijschool Quattro you learn in a relaxed atmosphere, so you build confidence behind the wheel. You learn in a modern automatic Audi A3, without unnecessary stress, with a clear approach and a focus on results.
You can take lessons with me in Dutch, English or Turkish. Together we work step by step towards your licence.

Why learn to drive in an automatic?
Driving an automatic is simple, comfortable and less stressful. There is no gear shifting, no clutch, and the car cannot stall. That lets you focus fully on the traffic, the situations around you and driving safely.
Many learners find they learn faster and take their exam with more confidence. With fewer things to do at once, more attention is left for what really matters: safe, relaxed driving.
On top of that, almost every electric and hybrid car has an automatic gearbox. By learning in an automatic now, you are ready not just for your exam but for the cars of the future.

Can I take driving lessons in English in Amersfoort?
Yes. At Rijschool Quattro your lessons are taught entirely in English if you want them to be. We specialise in teaching expats and internationals, and the CBR theory exam can also be taken in English. Lessons are also available in Dutch and Turkish.
Do you offer a trial lesson?
A single lesson costs €75 for 60 minutes and doubles as your intake. We assess your level on the road and advise honestly how many lessons you are likely to need before you commit to a package.
How many driving lessons will I need?
Most learners in the Netherlands need between 20 and 35 lessons before the practical exam. If you have driving experience from abroad you will usually need fewer. Learning in an automatic also tends to shorten the journey, because there is no clutch or gear work to master.
What does an automatic licence allow me to drive?
An automatic licence (category B, code 78) covers every automatic car in the Netherlands and the EU. It does not cover manual cars. With all electric and hybrid cars being automatic, most drivers never miss it.
Why automatic instead of manual?
You focus on traffic and awareness instead of clutch control. Most learners progress faster and arrive at the exam calmer. Driving is moving to automatic anyway: every electric and hybrid car is one.
How much do driving lessons cost in Amersfoort?
At Rijschool Quattro a single 60-minute lesson costs €75, and packages including the practical exam start at €1,599 for 20 lessons. Automatic lessons often work out cheaper overall, because most learners need fewer of them. Contact us for advice on what fits your experience.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
You can cancel a lesson free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours without a valid reason, the lesson rate is still charged. See the terms and conditions (Dutch) for the full policy.
How long does it take to get a licence?
Most learners go from first lesson to licence in six to twelve months, depending on lesson frequency. Two lessons a week shortens the journey considerably. Drivers with experience abroad, and learners in automatic cars, usually progress faster.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Amersfoort and teach across the city and surrounding towns: Vathorst, Leusden, Soest, Nijkerk, Hoevelaken and Bunschoten. Lessons can start from your home or work.
